Ingredients:
- Pearl Barley - Half Cup
- Dhuli Moong Daal - One fourth cup
- Chopped Tomato - 1
- Salt & Spices - To Taste
- Ginger & Green Chillies Paste
- Oil / Ghee
Instructions:
- Heat ghee/oil in a pressure cooker. Add heeng, cumin seeds, ginger & green chillies paste,
- Now add chopped tomato, pearl barley and dhuli moong dal and 3 cups of water. Give it a good mix. Add salt & turmeric powder now. Mix again.
- Take 3 to 4 whisles on medium flame. Allow the steam to escape naturally.(Do not open the lid).
- Now add garam masala & mix. Ready to enjoy.
- NOTE: You can add chopped vegetables too.
