Shakarkandi Rabdi is a perfect sweet to enjoy on any festival/winter day. It’s a gluten free or no grain kheer so can be eaten in vrat also.

  • Peeled & Grated Sweet Potato - 1 Cup
  • Milk - 3 Cup
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Chopped Dry fruits- 2 tbsp
  • kesar/saffron strings
  1. Heat milk in a sauce pan. Keep stirring it to avoid burning.
  2. When milk get one boil, slow the flame and add grated sweet potato. Cook it til sweet potatoes are tender.
  3. Add sugar. Cook for 15 minutes more. Keep stirring.
  4. Add chopped dry fruits and kesar/saffron strings. Cook for 5 minute. Enjoy it hot.
