Poha & spinach, both are very popular food ingredients for vegetarians. Poha, a good source of carbohydrates, packed with iron, rich in fibre while Spinach is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A (in the form of carotenoids), manganese, folate.

Ingredients:
  • Soaked & Drained Poha - 1 Cup
  • Chopped Spinach - 1 Cup
  • Chickpea Flour - 1 Cup
  • Ginger & green Chilli Paste - 1 Spoon
  • Carom Seeds - Half Spoon
  • Fenugreek Leaves - 2 Spoon
  • Red Chilli Crushed - Half Spoon
  • Turmeric Powder - One Fourth Spoon
  • Salt - One Third Spoon
  • Oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Oil to fry
Instructions:
  • Take a big bowl. Add all ingredients except oil in a bowl. Mix well all these dry ingredients.
  • Now heat 2 tbsp oil & pour over dry ingredients. Mix all ingredients by spoon.
  • Mix all these ingredients well by hands. Knead a dough. If it sticks to your hands, grease hands using oil/besan.
  • Pinch some lemon size dough. Press it between your palms.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry them in medium hot oil. Take out on a plate. Enjoy with coriander chutney.
