Winter is the time when you should make Makka Onion ke Pkorey. It is perfect to have on a chilly winter morning day or on a festive day. The B-complex vitamins in makka flour are good for skin, hair, heart, brain, and proper digestion. It contains vitamin A, C, K along with beta-carotene and selenium too.

Ingredients:
  • Makka Aata - 1 Cup
  • Thinly Sliced Onion - 2
  • Salt & Spices - To Taste
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Chopped Green Chillies - Optional
  • Water to make batter
  • Mustard Oil
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix makka aata, sliced onion, chillies, chopped coriander leaves, salt & spices.
  • Add water, make a smooth batter (Neither Thick, Not Runny One).
  • Heat mustard oil in a Kdhai. When oil is hot enough, reduce it to medium flame.
  • Now drop one spoon batter in the kdhai. Drop 8 to 10 pkoras at a time. Do not overcrowd.
  • When they look slightly cooked then flip them. Fry them till they turn crisp.
