Semiya chilla is a light dish which is easy to make for breakfast. Add more vegetables of yours choice to make it healthier recipe.

Ingredients:
  • Oil - 3 to 5 teaspoon
  • Rava - 1.5 cup
  • Vermicelli Semiya - 1 cup
  • Onions (chopped) - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon
  • Tomato (chopped) - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon
  • Green chilli (chopped) - 1/2 tablespoon
  • Chopped Curry leaves - few
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tea spoon
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon
Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add semiya and roast it for 3 minutes.
  2. Now take a bowl & Add rava, rosted semiya,onion, salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, tomato,coriander powder, green chilies, curry leaves & mix gently with water.
  3. Heat non stick pan & spread oil. Use Non stick tava so that you have to use less oil.
  4. Pour some batter in the center of the pan, spreading it out a little.
  5. Lower the heat and let cook till the edges brown a little and can be lifted easily.
  6. Dribble a little oil around it, turning the pan so the oil goes under the chilla.
  7. Flip it over to cook slightly on the other side.
  8. Serve it hot.
