Rajma is a great source of vitamins, minerals, proteins, dietary fibre and iron. They contain antioxidants that are beneficial to our health. Consumption of kidney beans on a regular basis is good for hair and skin.

These legumes are tasty and nutritious. They provide support for proper functioning of the nervous system and brain.


  • 4 Bread slices
  • 4 cheese slices
  • Butter 

Rajma Stuffing:

  • 1 cup boiled and coarsely crushed rajma (kidney beans)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup  chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp finely chopped garlic (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • Salt to Taste


  1. Mix all ingredients (tomato, onion, garlic, green chillies, chilli powder, salt, rajma) well except bread and cheese.

  2. Place bread slice on a dry surface and spread a little butter evenly over it.

  3. Spread two portions of the rajma stuffing evenly on 2 buttered slices and place 2 cheese slices over it.

  4. Sandwich it using the remaining 2 buttered slices of bread with the buttered side facing downwards.

  5. Apply a little butter on the upper side of the bread slice.

  6. Grill in a pre-heated greased sandwich griller for 4 to 5 minutes or till it turns crispy and brown from both the sides.

  7. Cut each sandwich diagonally or shape of your choice.

  8. Serve hot.
