Salad and Sprouts Finger Millet

Ragi Sprouts is perfect snack for breakfast as it has low calories & rich source of vitamins & minerals. Ragi Sprouts would be a healthier alternative to over-the-counter supplements, especially for people who might be at risk of osteoporosis or low hemoglobin levels.

Ingredients:
  • Finger Millet/Ragi - 1 Cup
  • Salt & Spices
  • Lemon Juice
Instructions:
  • Wash and clean the finger millet in cold water till the water runs clean.
  • Now soak them overnight/6 to 8 hrs in sufficient water. In Winter, it might take more time to sprout due to less temperature.
  • After soaking them, take out them in a wet muslin/cheese cloth & bring the ends of it together and close it on top of it.
  • Leave it for 4 to 5 hours. Try to keep it at the warm corner of yours house.
  • If the weather is very cold then you can preheat yours oven first then switch it off.
  • Leave this sprouts bag under microwave for 4 to 5 hrs.
  • Once sprouts are out, add chopped vegetables (tomato, boiled potato) , salt & spices of yours choice, lemon juice.
  • Mix all of it well & enjoy.
