Kebab Puffed Rice

Puffed Rice are so lightweight & you can make a number of different dishes using them. Puffed rice cutlet is made with soaked puffed rice, boiled potato & chopped vegetables. When you add tempering of curry leaves & mustard seeds, the dish gets a south Indian flavor touch.

Ingredients:
  • Soaked Puffed Rice - 1 Cup
  • Chopped Vegetables - Half Cup
  • Boiled & Mashed potatoes - 2
  • Salt & Spices
  • Tempering of chopped curry leaves & few mustard seeds
Instructions:
  • Mix soaked puffed rice, chopped vegetables, boiled & mashed potatoes, tempering of chopped curry leaves & few mustard seeds, salt & spices.
  • Mix well without adding water. Mix them well.
  • Now take a lemon size ball out of the dough. Flatten it into patties.
  • Grease a tava with oil. Cook patties on low flame applying oil both sides.
  • NOTE: If they are fragile & you want more crispiness, dip them in cornflour batter first & then dust with crushed cornflakes. Fry them on low to medium flame.
