Mushrooms are one of the few food sources for vitamin D, a fat-soluble vitamin that our bodies can make with exposure to sunlight, because growers are exposing their crops to small amounts of ultraviolet light. D vitamins are important because they help our bodies absorb calcium and promote bone growth.

Total Time (Minutes): 20
Ingredients:
  • Mushroom- Cut into 4 slices
  • All purpose flour
  • Salt & spices
  • Crushed Oats- Not Powdered
  • Oil
Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix mushroom, all purpose flour, salt & spices. Add little water & coat all mushroom with mixture. Keep it aside
  2. Heat a pan and pour oil for deep frying.
  3. Take oats in a plate.
  4. Dip each piece of mushroom in oats mixture and coat well.
  5. Fry them in oil over a medium low flame until done.
