Ingredients:
- Bottle Gourd Pieces - 1.5 Cup
- Raw Mango Pieces - Half Cup
- Green Chilli - 2
- Tamarind Pulp - 3 to 4 Spoon
- Mustard Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
- Red Chilly powder – 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Bay Leaf/Tejpatta - 2
Instructions:
- Take oil in a pan & shallow fry bottle gourd, mango pieces.
- Add tamarind paste. Saute for few more minutes. Keep Stirring.
- Take it out in a bowl. Keep this bowl aside
- Now in the same pan, heat oil. Temper bay leaf, mustad seeds, curry leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt.
- Pour this tempering over the bowl ingredients & mix well.
- Serve it roti/rice/chwal
- NOTE:
- If you do not have raw mango then use amchoor powder at the time of tempering.
- You can add little jaggery too to get khtta meetha taste.
