The bright color of chilli peppers signals its high content of beta-carotene or pro-vitamin A. Just two teaspoons of red chilli peppers provide about six percent of the daily value for vitamin C coupled with more than 10 percent of the daily value for vitamin A.

  • Bread- 4 Slices
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Few Red Chili or Green Chili, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste (cheese has salt so add salt accoordingly)
  • Grated Cheese
  • Garlic
  • Red Chilli Flakes
  • Coriander Leaves

  1. Apply butter generously over the bread slices one side.
  2. Sprinkle chopped red chili over the bread slices.
  3. Sprinkle some salt and the grate the processed cheese on top of the slices.
  4. Add the garlic and red chili flakes on top. Grate some more cheese on top.
  5. Place the bread slices on a baking tray or on a non stick tava.
  6. Bake the chilli cheese toast for 2 minutes in oven OR cook it on non stick tava for 5 minutes on low flame covered with lid.
  7. Once done remove it on the plate & slice it diagonally.
  8. Sprinkle oregano seasoning (optional).
  9. Taste best when served hot.
