Chana Daal is rich in protein, fiber, minerals and fatty acids.It is very low in calorie and rich in iron. Loaded with fibre, this is an effective natural aid for weight loss. These fibres keep you full for longer, thus controlling your appetite.

  • Chana dal (washed and soaked for 1 hr, then drained) - 250 gm
  • Gram Flour - 2 to 3 Spoon
  • Onion (chopped) - 1
  • Garlic flakes (chopped) - 3
  • Ginger (chopped) - 1 inch
  • Thick curd - 2 tsp
  • Chaat masala powder:- ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder - ½ tsp
  • Oil - ½ tbsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

  1. Mince the drained chana dal in a blender.
  2. Combine all the ingredients together except chaat masala and oil into a minced dal.
  3. Separate this mixture into lemon-sized balls and then shape them in form of kebabs by rolling between the palms.
  4. Brush with little oil and now grill them till cooked
  5. Continue rotating to prevent burning.
  6. Sprinkle lemon juice and chaat masala powder over it.
  7. Serve hot.
