Adults need 1 mcg of vitamin K per kilogram of body weight, which means a 75k g adult would need 75 mcg of vitamin K a day. Just 100 g steamed broccoli provides 145 mcg of vitamin K, so this nutrient can be easily achieved through diet alone.

Instructions:

  1. In a pressure cooker, add ghee and once it is hot, add the cumin seeds.
  2. When cumin seeds are roasted, add onion and cook till translucent.
  3. Now add broccoli florets and peas and mix well.
  4. Add salt and black pepper powder (or any other spice you like ) and mix everything together.
  5. Now add drained (soaked) rice and mix everything together.
  6. Cook for 2 to 3 whistle on medium flame. Switch off the flame. Let it cool for 2 minute.
  7. Take the pressure out, garnish with coriander and serve hot.
