Bread Pudding (Egg) Recipe

Bread pudding is a classic dessert that is simple to make with very few ingredients and everyone always loves it.

  • Milk - 2 Cup
  • Butter - 2 Tbsp
  • Vanilla extract - 1 Teaspoon
  • Sugar - Half cup
  • 5 to 6 bread slices, cut into cubes (about 5 to 6 cups)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Chopped nuts - 2 Tbsp
  1. Milk Mixture - In a sauce pan, mix milk, vanilla, sugar. Mix it well. Keep it aside.
  2. Grease a baking tray with butter. Place bread cubes evenly in tray. Sprinkle chopped nuts.
  3. Add eggs to milk mixture and whisk; pour this mixture over bread cubes.
  4. Bake it in microwave/oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Taste best when served hot.
