Watermelon is a nutrient dense food. It provides high levels of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants and just a small number of calories. Watermelon, which is mostly water and contains electrolytes can help negate the effects of the heat in the summertime and potentially reduce the risk of suffering heat stroke.

If someone looks like they aren’t handling the heat well, offer them some watermelon. If they appear to be suffering from the symptoms of heat stroke, seek medical attention immediately.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Bowl Chopped Watermelon Deseeded
  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 1 Teaspoon Honey
  • Few ice cubes crushed
Instructions:

  1. Put watermelon, honey, ice cubes in a blender and blend.
  2. Now add curd & blend more to get the desired consistency.
  3. Pour the lassi in glass and put some more crushed ice cubes & watermelon chunks.
  4. Serve immediately.
