Including tofu in kid's meal is a good choice as its rich in protein & an excellent source of iron and calcium. All these nutrients are extremely important for their growth and development. But tofu has a peculiar taste that may not go down with most children. You can try this tofu chilla, they will not even get to know that they had tofu.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Mix of Chopped Vegetables
  • 1 Cup Gram Flour/Besan
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt
  • One & Half Cup Milk
  • Tofu - 150 gm
Instructions:

  1. In a blender, blend gram flour, turmeric powder, salt, spices, tofu & milk.
  2. Take it out in a glass. Add baking soda & give it a mix. Batter is ready.
  3. Heat a pan & pour a ladleful of batter onto a hot tawa and spread gently.
  4. Sprinkle chopped vegetables on the top of chilla
  5. Keep it covered for few minutes. Once cooked, take it out.
