  • Rice - Half Cup
  • Yellow Moong Daal - Half Cup
  • Puree of Parboiled spinach - Half Cup
  • Ghee
  • Salt & Chilli Powder
  • Turmeric
  • Water
  • Asafoetida - 2 Pinches
  1. Wash rice & daal well. Soak them in water for atleast half an hour.
  2. Add ghee in a pressure cooker. Add Asafoetida, turmeric powder.
  3. Add spinach puree, soaked rice and daal. Mix them very well.
  4. Add salt & chilli powder. Add water three times of the dal rice mixture. Stir very well.
  5. Close the cooker s lid. Take 3 to 5 whistles on low flame.
