Crunchy Paneer Strips Recipe

A product made from milk, it is used in several forms such as chunks, bhurji, fried, sauteed, barbequed, grilled, etc. Basically, paneer is an all-rounder when it comes to ways it can be eaten and tastes good almost in all these forms.

  1. Sprinkle little chaat masala on paneer strips and set aside.
  2. In a flat plate, mix together maida & cornflour, salt, pepper, garlic & make a paste (not watery) with the help of water. Coat strips first in batter & then again with bread crumbs/Oats/Seviyan.
  3. Shallow fry in oil on medium flame until crisp and done. Take them out on tissue paper.
  4. NOTE: Don't cut paneer strips too thin as they are prone to break while frying.
  5. Use white bread crumbs/Oats/Seviyan to get crunchy texture.
