Chana Rasam

Ingredients:
  • Boiled & Coarsly Mashed Kabuli Chana - 1 Cup
  • Chana Stock - 1 Cup ( water in which you boiled chana)
  • Rasam Masala - 2 to 3 Spoon
  • Tomato Puree - Half Cup
  • Salt - 2 Spoon
  • Turmeric - Half Spoon
  • Asafoetida - 2 Pinches
  • Few Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • Lemon Juice - 2 Spoon
  • Ghee - 1 Spoon
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 Spoon
  • Few Freshly Chopped Curry Leaves
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, pour 2 cups of water. Add tomato puree, salt, turmeric.
  • Mix all & bring it to boil. Lower the flame & cook it for 5 to 8 minutes.
  • Add mashed chana, chana stock, rasam masala. Keep stirring & cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • To make tempering. Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add asafoetida, curry leaves & mustard seeds. Pour this tempering over rasam.
  • Add lemon juice and freshly chopped coriander leaves.
