Sabudana Namkeen Recipe

Sabudana Namkeen is a convenient form of snack to enjoy tea/coffee specially when you are an working person. Loaded with peanuts, kadi pata and coconuts, its full of nutrition. You can make it in one day before the fasting day and enjoy it with morning tea.

  • Sabudana - 1 Cup
  • Fried Peanuts - Half Cup
  • Fried Coconut (thinly sliced)
  • Few Fried Curry Leaves
  • Sendha Salt
  • Black Peppercorns
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Oil/Ghee
  1. Take sabudana in a big bowl. Sprinkle few drops of water by hand all over the sabudana.
  2. Leave it for 20 minutes.
  3. Now heat oil/ghee in a pan. Once oil is hot, drop sabudana in oil & lower the flame. Deep fry sabudana in this oil.
  4. If Sabudana is popping out of the pan then cover it with a lid & keep stirring. (Keeping it covered)
  5. Take out this fried sabudana in a bowl.
  6. Mix (fried sabudana, fried curry leaves, fried peanuts, fried thinly sliced coconut, sendha namak, blackpepper, powdered sugar)
  7. Mix all of them very well. Store it in an airtight box.
