Sabudana Laddoo Recipe

Sabudana have calcium, magnesium and iron. All these minerals help in the creation of bone tissues which strengthens bone mineral density, prevents arthritis and osteoporosis. The presence of folate and vitamin B6 in sabudana aid in the proper development of the foetus and prevent the occurrence of neural tube defects in infants.

  • Sabudana - 1 Cup
  • Ghee - 3 Tbsp or more
  • Dry Roasted Coconut Powder - Half Cup
  • Roasted Chopped Nuts
  • 3 to 4 Green Cardamoms Powdered
  • Powdered Sugar/Melted Jaggery - Half Cup
  1. Heat ghee in a pan. Roast sabudana on a very slow flame till you get good crunchiness.
  2. Once done, let it cool. Once it is slightly warm ( Not hot), now blend few times to get a flour texture.
  3. Take out flour on a wide plate. Add all other ingredients & mix by hands. It should be slightly warm.
  4. Scoop out little mixture & shape into balls.
  5. Store in a air tight jar.
