We generally cook Arbi in tomato & curd gravy but have you given a try to make it in spinach gravy? If not then try once, you will love it! Palak Arbi provides a good source of dietary fiber too and high in beneficial nutrients.

Ingredients:
  • Spinach Puree - 1 Cup
  • Boiled Arbi (Peeled) - 5 to 7
  • Oil
  • Salt & Spices
  • Onion Paste - Half Cup
  • Tomato Paste - Half Cup
Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan & fry boiled arbi till they are golden brown. Keep them aside. (Fry them in non stick pan so they don't stick to pan while frying)
  2. Now take 2 spoon oil in a pan. Saute onion paste. when done, add tomato paste. Once oil release, add spices ( salt, coriander powder, garam masala, chilli powder)
  3. Once masala is sauted well , add spinach puree & cook for few minutes. Add some water & cook. (Keep stirring)
  4. In the end, add fried arbi, mix well.
  5. NOTE: If you don't have time to make spinach puree then use raw chopped spinach.
