Recipe Cuisine: Indian
Total Time (Minutes): 15
  • 2 Sliced Onion
  • 1 Cup Besan
  • 2 Green chilli
  • Salt & Spices - To Taste
  • Oil
  • Water

  1. Take sliced onions in a bowl. Add besan, salt & spices over it & mix.
  2. Slowly add in the water, while mixing with your hands. Mix well for a couple of seconds. The batter should be medium thick & smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Fry pakoda on medium flame. Remove on tissue paper & sprinkle chaat masala over it.
  4. NOTE: Don't overcrowd the oil with pakoda because it will result in greasy pakoras.
  5. Add water gradually only as onions also release water after adding salt.
  6. Fry on medium flame to get crispy texture.
  7. Always drain pakoda on tissue paper to remove excess oil.
