Besan Methi Paratha Recipe

It is from chickpeas that besan comes about, and it is rich with nutrients and fiber. The besan flour or gram flour is one of the most beneficial, on the grounds that it is produced using beats stacked with proteins and a considerable measure of other imperative supplements.

Ingredients:
  • Besan - 1 Cup
  • Wheat flour - Half Cup
  • Chopped Methi Leaves - 1 Cup
  • Salt & Spices to taste
  • Ginger,green chillies paste
  • Mustard Oil/Ghee
Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients (wheat flour, besan, chill powder, turmeric, methi, salt, ginger, green chillies paste).
  2. Using water gradually, knead a semi soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll it in small ball. Dust it in little dry wheat flour.
  4. Using a rolling pin, roll the ball.
  5. Heat a tava/griddle and cook paratha on medium flame, using oil.
  6. Serve with Yogurt/Pickle.
  7. NOTE: Using mustard oil enhance the taste. But you can use any other oil too.
