As its is said, "an apple a day does keep the doctor away”. These very doctors recommend eating apples to keep your immunity strong during the chilly winter days. Not only are apples helpful in battling cough but they also keep your blood sugar levels under check. Take your daily dose of apples in a drink form and save yourself from a trip to the doctor. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tea spoon Cloves powder (Laung)
  • 6 Cups Apple Juice
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick (Daalchini)
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder (Jaayephal)
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 1/4 Cups Pineapple Juice
  • 1 Cup Kinu Orange Juice

Method:

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the apple juice and cinnamon stick. Bring it to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and simmer 5 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat, and stir in the nutmeg, cloves, honey, lemon juice, pineapple juice and Kinu (Orange) juice.

  3. Serve hot in a bowl.
